Dude- huh?
Me- I see your bracelet.
Dude- oh yea. You knew Deanna.
Me- yup! Pulled my sleeve up and showed him my hug.

Wonderful evening spent with wonderful people.. but the most amazing part was the hug from my little Hayley bug who not only ran to me and launched herself into my arms but hugged me so tightly and said in my ear in her sweet little voice "I am never letting you go!" I love my little bug so much and she is so right when she says she hasn't seen me enough. This will be corrected! One little green ribbon so much meaning. Organ Donation my Mama Kat's here today with us due to the gift of life, my boy LIttle Dustin helped others with this gifts of life at just the age of 15, and my sweet De wished for the same but due to small town politics and poorly written processes she missed this opportunity. Depression which I have learned so recently isn't just sadness, it is an all consuming disease and illness that does require more than a funny movie to fix. and last but definitely not least... Traumatic Brain Injury... two very close family members and friends are survivors... I love you Wesley and Jay... unfortunately my sweet girl did not survive hers. If only she had on her seatbelt that day.. but today I share with you this little green ribbon as a testament of love for the people who fall under the categories it covers. Funny how amusement led to research that led to an oh wow moment.

Why did God choose new names for some people? The Bible doesn’t give us His reasons, but perhaps it was to let them know they were destined for a new mission in life. The new name was a way to let them in on the divine plan and also to assure them that God’s plan would be fulfilled in them.

Here's a thought. When someone asks how your day was and your response is "it was good except _________." Tonight before bed pray about or for _________ then leave it behind and in the past for good.

I AM a child of God. I will be strong enough. I will have another good week! I will love with all my heart and I will set boundaries that need to be set. I will let God lead me to those that love and support me as I would love and support them. I AM a child of God.

I love having a support group for when my heart is just hurt.. It's like the cartoon daddy gave me said. sometimes the only medicine for a hurt heart is a good hug. I am not close enough to anyone right now for a hug so I will just let my friends know I need virtual ones and some thoughts and prayers at the moment. xoxoxo
