Love from Sylvia

Almighty God, we enter into Your presence today, with thanksgiving in our hearts. We know that in the morning You hear our voice, O Lord; so in the morning we prepare for You and watch and wait for You to speak to our hearts. You are the God of our salvation. You are our confidence and our great hope. Therefore, this day, we cast all our anxiety on You, because You care for us. Even as the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour, we shall be self-controlled and alert. We know, dear God, that You did not give us a spirit of fear, but of LOVE, POWER, and of a SOUND MIND! So shall we resist the enemy, standing firm in the faith; confident that the God of all grace is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we may ask or think, according to the power that works in us! Thank You Lord for Your great love towards us; thank You for hearing us; and thank You, O God, for answering us from Your throne of Grace with the saving strength of Your right hand. In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all. Amen.
